With the aims of producing zealous and dedicated teachers who could mould and form the future generation, Miss.Lottie Stanyon Our founder was a Christian missionary who started a Higher Elementary Teacher Training School in 1926 at Salem. The Higher Elementary Teacher Training School was converted into Basic Teacher Training School in 1964. This was later converted in to Diploma in Teacher Education in 1975. Now it is renamed as Diploma in Elementary Education
